Contract Award for Waste Wheel Bins

The City & County of Swansea has successfully awarded contracts for the procurement of waste and recycling wheel bins to comply with the Wales Workplace Recycling legislation for 2024. The tender received a total of four submissions and was awarded based on the lowest price criteria.

The awarded contracts include the supply of dark grey, green, light grey, and steel wheel bins. The contractor responsible for the first three lots is ContenurUK Limited, located in Liverpool, UK. They have been awarded contracts totaling £13605, £9432, and £15720 for their respective products.

For the fourth lot comprising steel wheel bins, the contract has been awarded to EGBERT H. TAYLOR & COMPANY LIMITED, based in Droitwich, UK, with a contract value of £88965. Lastly, the refurbishment of steel wheel bins for the fifth lot has been contracted to STORM ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITED from Kidderminster with a total value of £95400.

The total contract value for these supplies amounts to £198750, reinforcing the community's commitment to improved waste management and recycling.
