The project, which was originally set for earlier, had to be replaced and accelerated due to previous cancellation. A total of 14 tenders were received, showcasing considerable interest in this unique opportunity. The selected contractor, Jingo Juice Ltd, trading as Marshmallow Laser Feast, has been tasked with delivering a project that aims to draw visitors to Kew Gardens with a standout attraction during the summer months.

The total value of the contract is estimated at £550,000, emphasizing the importance of this initiative for the botanical gardens. The selection process focused primarily on technical capabilities and presentation of ideas, crucial for ensuring that the commission not only meets Kew Gardens’ objectives but also provides a breathtaking experience for its guests.
