Electricity Supply Contracts Awarded

Electricity Supply Contracts Awarded

The Community Gateway Association, a body governed by public law based in Preston, UK, has awarded two contracts for electricity supply services. This decision comes after a restricted tendering process, where EDF Energy emerged as the successful contractor. The contracts, valued at a total of £377,000, focus on two main categories: NHH and HH electricity supply.

EDF Energy, located in Exeter, will supply electricity under two contracts, with one valued at £133,000 for NHH electricity, and the second valued at £245,000 for HH electricity. The tenders were part of Lot 2 of the Procurement Hub Energy Supply Services Dynamic Purchasing System (reference number 2019/S 130-317877). The award was based on the lowest price criterion, emphasizing both cost-effectiveness and reliability in this essential service.

The announcement of these contracts not only signifies a strategic partnership between Community Gateway Association and EDF Energy but is also a commitment to providing steady and sustainable electricity supply to the community.
