Natural History Museum Uniform Supply Contracts
The Natural History Museum has officially awarded contracts for the provision of a suite of uniforms for approximately 700 front-of-house staff. These contracts are part of a competitive tender process in compliance with the PCR 2015, and they have been divided into several lots for better management and cater to different uniform needs.
Contractor PCL Corporatewear Limited has been awarded contracts for the supply of Sou’ester coats, jackets, as well as lab jackets and waistcoats. The total values for these contracts were estimated at £23,500 and £81,000 respectively. Additionally, Scimitar Sport UK Ltd has secured the contract for tops and accessories, with an estimated contract value of £85,500. The final awarded amounts vary based on the assessments of the quality and price criteria outlined in the tender.
The awarding of these contracts was based on a thorough evaluation of the tenders received and highlighted the Museum's commitment to quality and sustainability in its procurement process. The Museum anticipates that these new uniforms will not only enhance the appearance of its staff but also reflect its reputation as a world-class institution.
