NHS Lincolnshire Awards Suicide Bereavement Service

The NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) has announced its intention to award a contract for the provision of the Suicide Bereavement Service. The contract, valued at £171,020, will be awarded to Listening Ear, an established provider based in Halewood, Liverpool.

This decision follows a direct award process under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) regulations, emphasizing the provider's capability to meet the required standards. The contract duration is from November 1, 2024, to March 31, 2026, and is aimed at providing critical support in suicide bereavement cases.

The awarding authority highlighted that the decision was based on multiple criteria including quality, value, integration, and social value, ensuring that the provider meets the expectations for community support and care. As the publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period, representations from other providers must be received by October 31, 2024. The NHS ICB is committed to enhancing health services in Lincolnshire, and this contract aims to address pressing needs in the county's health framework.
