NHSScotland Lead Advisor Framework Awarded

The Common Services Agency, commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), has announced the award of the NHSScotland Lead Advisor Consultant Framework (2023). This comprehensive framework is designed to deliver essential advisory, design, inspection, and supervision services tailored to health and social care programmes. With an estimated value of £20 million, this framework signifies a major investment in construction and engineering services aimed at revitalizing healthcare assets across Scotland.

More than 10 tenders were received for this framework, showcasing a robust competitive selection process. Notable contractors awarded include Currie & Brown UK Limited based in Glasgow, Thomson Gray from Edinburgh, and Thomas & Adamson International Limited, also located in Edinburgh, alongside AECOM and Mott Macdonald, both recognized names in the engineering and construction consultancy sector. Each contractor brings a wealth of experience and expertise in delivering high-quality services essential for the successful delivery of health-related projects.

The aim of this framework is not only to provide integrated advisory services but also to ensure that construction projects comply with the NEC4 suite of contracts. NHS NSS emphasizes that while they cannot guarantee the volume or total value of work, the framework represents a valuable opportunity for contractors to engage with vital projects within the NHSScotland Capital Programme.
