Repairs to House of Lords Chamber Roof
The UK Parliament has officially awarded a significant contract for the repairs to the House of Lords Chamber roof. This project, valued at £1,957,876.34, involves crucial multidisciplinary design and various associated services. The approved contractor for this endeavor is Ridge & Partners LLP, based in Woodstock, UK.
The awarded contract encompasses a range of essential services, including lead designer, principal designer, architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering, structural engineering, as well as acoustic and fire engineering services. These will be key to supporting the project from RIBA Stage 3 to 7, which is anticipated to run between 2024 and 2030, depending on the construction programme.
This call-off contract is being executed under the Crown Commercial Services Framework RM6165, specifically designed for construction professional services.
