Diamond Light Source Ltd (DLS), located on the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, has awarded a contract for the supply of permanent magnet blocks. This contract, numbered 8043830, is valued at £233,317 and aims to support the facility's upgrade to Diamond-II, enhancing scientific research capabilities.

The awarded contractor, Hangzhou Permanent Magnet Group (HPMG) from Hangzhou, China, successfully participated in the open procedure for this tender. They will manufacture and supply Nd2Fe14B permanent magnet blocks, which are critical for advancing DLS's state-of-the-art research facilities.
