Youth Engagement Survey Contract Awarded

The Arts Council of England has successfully awarded the contract for the Children & Young People National Engagement Survey on Culture & Creativity to Kantar Public UK Ltd, trading as Verian Group. This important survey aims to assess the engagement and participation of children and young people, aged 0 to 15, in cultural and creative activities across England. The survey will gather insights at a geographically granular level, helping to understand the variations in engagement across different demographic groups and areas.

This project is not just about collecting data; it is integral to monitoring progress in achieving key outcomes set out in the strategy 'Let’s Create' and subsequent delivery plans. The initiative reflects a commitment to fostering cultural engagement among younger generations and ensuring that the voices of children and young people are heard in the cultural dialogue.

The contract was awarded for a total value of £888,515.50, with Kantar Public UK Ltd as the prime contractor. Notably, 24% of the work is likely to be subcontracted, with various assessments of printing, mailing, and data processing services delegated to specialized firms. This approach not only supports the main contractor but also encourages local and specialized businesses to take part in delivering this essential service.

More information about the project and the Arts Council's initiatives can be found on their [official website](https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/supplying-arts-council).
